Nowadays undoubtedly artificial intelligence has revolutionized globally among the audiences with its new inventions & delivered a positive impact on the lives of people. Among them today we have “Milo” a humanoid robot developed by Texas, USA based research center known as ‘RoboKind’ to help the children who found difficulties in their speech & also improves social behavior.

Milo was specially designed for learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder where it interacts with the kid in an understandable way. It also helps them to grow academically, improves behavioral skills & boosts confidence level while solving the academic tasks on the other hand. Hence for the desired results, a program called Robo4Autism had been designed which mainly focuses on enhancing social skills, self-motivation & helps to tune in on emotions. To know the prerequisites required for this program, please refer to this link: Eligibility Criteria.

Milo uses a verbal form of communication for delivering the lecture. The symbols are been displayed on the chest screen while he communicates with the kids so that the learner can understand what he’s conveying. Learners will be assigned small tasks of watching 4-5 sec length videos, on completion he will post quick yes or no type questions for each module which indeed tests learner’s skills cum behavior whether they’re applying it correctly or not.

Milo uses a wide spectrum of facial expressions to engage with the students which makes them concentrate on delivering the given tasks. The above tasks need to be repeated at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes by the learner along with instructor or therapist. Therefore, Milo is creating a great learning & thriving experience among the learners, therapists & parents. On an end note please find the testimonials Testimonial 1 | Testimonial 2 of the learners & teachers who got positive changes in their lives after adapting Milo for their therapy.
